Attorney
  • Profile

Rebecca joined the firm as a law clerk in October of 2020, in the midst of not only her final year of law school but also in the middle of a global pandemic. Since then, Rebecca has graduated Cum Laude from Duquesne University School of Law and was admitted to the Bar in October. While a new attorney by trade, she is no stranger to the world of family law.

Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017 from Penn State University – University Park with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and minors in Psychology and Health Policy Administration. She also graduated as a Schreyer Honors Scholar, completing an honors thesis on the Intergenerational Transmission of Attachment. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Rebecca worked as a counselor at a drug and rehabilitation center where she conducted therapeutic classes and family sessions.

Throughout these experiences, Rebecca was able to learn about the intricacies of family relationships, trauma, and child wellbeing, which ultimately shaped her interest in family law. Unlike many of her peers, she entered law school with the purpose of pursuing a career in specifically family law and fashioned her legal education around that. She participated in Duquesne’s family law clinic, interned at a small family law firm and the Juvenile Court Project, and became a court-appointed special advocate for children in dependency proceedings. Rebecca particularly likes family law as it allows her to combine her passion for child advocacy with her skills and training in counseling.

When she is not working, Rebecca is often traveling to the “sweetest place on Earth” (her hometown of Hershey, Pennsylvania), visiting national parks, or attending concerts.
